- Ice Age. This is included in the list of top kids’ movies of 2002 because the story and the visual effects are cool. It also has interesting characters that once lived in the Ice Age. These animals are trying to save a human baby in that cold and dangerous period of the earth. The characters are Manny, a woolly mammoth; Sid, a sloth; Scrat, a squirrel; and Diego, a saber-toothed tiger.
- Scooby-Doo. If you love the cartoons which was first aired in 1969 you would also love this comedy-adventure film starring Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne, to name a couple of the actors. Other characters are Shaggy and Velma. The main character, though, is the always frightened Great Dane named Scooby-Doo. The four human characters used to belong in a ghost-busting group, but they disbanded because of Fred’s attitude of getting credit for the entire group member’s hard work. They will reunite after two years to solve yet another mystery.
- Lilo & Stitch. This is a movie about the unusual friendship between a young Hawaiian girl named Lilo and an alien named Stitch. Lilo is a bit different compared to other children, which made it difficult for her older sister to take care of her, though she loves her younger sister very much. And when she meets Stitch, she ahs found true friendship with him.
