Top Kids Movies of 2008

The year 2008 produced a lot of great films for kids. You might want to watch these movies with your children in one of your family movie nights. Most of the films included in the list of top kids’ movies of 2008 are animated, which is understandable because animated films or cartoons are more colourful. - Wall-E. Disney Pixar has outdone itself again. This is a great animated film that features a cleaning robot named Wall-E. When humans left earth, they left behind endless trash and garbage, and Wall-E appointed himself as the earth cleaner. Then he met EVE, another robot that is more sophisticated than Wall-E. EVE was sent to earth to find out if there is still vegetation on earth. The plot revolves around the two robots. And even if they do not talk too much, you will be delighted with the story and you will also learn a lesson or two about the environment.
- Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa. If you lived the first Madagascar film released in 2005, you will also fall in love with the sequel. The cute and energetic animals want to go back to their homeland in Africa. Children will love the cute and colourful characters who always sing songs in the movie.
- High School Musical: Senior Year. This is a perfect film for older kids, especially tweens or girls who are around 9 to 14 years old. The plot of the third High School Musical film focuses on Troy and Gabriella in their senior year and the possibility of them being apart. You can expect the usual singing and dancing, the things that made them popular among teenyboppers.
- Kung Fu Panda. The last film but definitely not the least to be included in the top kids’ movies of 2008 is Kung Fu Panda. This is all bout Po the Panda who saved the people in his town after learning Kung Fu.
